Straight answers about how Basix works, what it costs, and where your data lives.
No. Your workspace data stays on your own machine or office server, in a local database you control. Basix contacts our servers only to validate your licence and check for updates. If you connect calendar sync, that talks directly to your calendar provider.
Yes. Because Basix runs on your own machine, tasks, boards, customers, attendance, chat and the vault all keep working with no internet connection. Only licence checks, updates and optional calendar sync need to go online.
Basix is $2.99 per user per month, or $29.90 per user per year — which works out at two months free. Every person in the workspace needs a seat, and the pricing section on the home page always shows the current price in your local currency.
Yes — 30 days, with no credit card required. The trial is the complete product, not a limited edition, so you can put a real team on it before deciding.
All of them, in every plan: Tasks, Boards, Customers, Attendance, Calendar, Chat, Vault and Archive. There are no tiers, add-ons or per-tool pricing — one seat gets the whole platform.
A Windows 10 or 11 machine. For a team, install Basix on a shared machine or your office server and everyone connects to the same workspace — there is no separate server product to license or maintain.
Yes. The Basix calendar connects to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and Apple Calendar, so team events stay in step with the calendar people already use.
Yes. Employees clock in and out from the app, and managers get a monthly attendance view for the whole team, including vacation and sick days, with history and export.
Vault keeps credentials encrypted on your own device and never syncs them to the cloud. It is unlocked separately from the rest of the app and works fully offline, so your secrets never leave the machine they live on.
It is a subscription, billed monthly or annually per user. You can pay by card or PayPal, and change or cancel the plan yourself from inside the app.
Your data stays yours and stays on your machine. When a licence lapses Basix stops accepting new changes, but you can still open the app, read everything, export your data and renew — nothing is deleted or held hostage.
Yes. Basix takes automated backups of the workspace database on a schedule, kept locally alongside your data, and you can restore from them from inside the app.
Yes. Attendance records and customer meeting notes export to Excel and Word, and the workspace database is a plain file on your own disk — so you are never locked in.
